Digitization Agri food sector: stimulating together

How do we stimulate the application of digitalization in the Agri-food sector for the benefit of a better world in Limburg?   

The large European Interreg program Regions4Food (R4F) has shown that many agri-food entrepreneurs do not always know where to turn for help or find it scary to innovate when faced with digitization questions. In several regions in Europe and also in the Netherlands, Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) have emerged in recent years. They have proven to be very successful in stimulating and supporting digitization in the agri-food sector. 

A DIH is a kind of 'one-stop-shop' that has everything to support the agri-food entrepreneur with digital innovations.

Should we want this in Limburg too, such a "one-stop-shop"?

In fact, we already have it, we don't need to create anything new 

We already have everything for such a one-stop-shop. We already have everything for such a "one-stop-shop". But we can make more use of everything that already works well in our region, also across borders. And we can help each other to remove resistance and ignorance.

How?  

If together (as Brightlands Campuses, knowledge institutes, Lltb, Liof, Province, Keyport, Crossroads hubs, fieldlabs, etc. as well as similar entities in Germany and Belgium) we want to be that virtual "one-stop-shop" for the agri-food entrepreneur in Limburg and the Euregion, then it would be nice if we:

• Strengthen the mutual connections and cooperation
• Share success stories for inspiration
• Daring to share
• Confidence
