As part of the Agropole project, German-Dutch collaborations that stimulate developments and innovations in the agri-food sector can be funded with up to 10,000 euros. The vouchers are funded from the INTERREG Deutschland-Nederland program.
Most innovative agricultural region in Europe
The Agropole innovation project is a collaboration between several German and Dutch organizations in the field of innovation in agriculture. The German-Dutch border area with Niederrhein and the province of Limburg is one of the most important agricultural regions in Europe. The entire 'agribusiness' value chain is represented here in a contiguous area. Through intensified cooperation, different organizations in the value chain can complement each other and benefit from innovation. The goal: to make the border region known as the most innovative agricultural region in Europe.
For whom
The innovation vouchers are made available for new projects in the agri-food sector involving at least one Dutch and one German partner. Also, at least one of the partners must come from the Euregio Rhine-Meuse North area (province of North and Middle Limburg, Kreis Viersen, Mönchengladbach, Rhein-Kreis Neuss, Kreis Kleve or Kreis Wesel). The project contributes to knowledge transfer and innovative developments within the agri-food sector.
