LLTB Compass 2030 presented

At the LLTB Jubilee Conference 2021 on November 11, the LLTB Compass 2030 was presented. Kompas 2030 describes the challenges that Limburg farmers and horticulturists are working on; challenges from the earth, neighbors & citizens, consumers and the Limburg economy. We see that society and the earth are increasingly demanding sustainability. That neighbors and citizens want a healthy, safe and attractive countryside. That consumers have diverse needs. And that our Limburg economy cannot do without a robust agricultural sector.

Entrepreneurs with solutions

Limburg farmers and horticulturists are not afraid of these challenges and the LLTB supports them. In this Kompas you can read how they do it. But above all it describes the solutions that entrepreneurs have in house for these challenges. Solutions that can be deployed on the basis of customization - appropriate to the environment and the farmer.

Many entrepreneurs are faced with challenges in this respect. Challenges which we cannot always face alone and for which we need the help of our regional stakeholders: people who care about our region and with whom our farmers and market gardeners will shape the future. That means you.

Inspiration and support

This Compass is intended to inspire and support LLTB members. It is also an invitation to partners and regional stakeholders. We invite them, based on this Kompas, to join us in looking at the challenges we face in light of what the earth, neighbors & citizens, consumers and the Limburg economy ask of us. Because not only is there a lot that is asked of our entrepreneurs, tasks are also sometimes at odds with each other. Fortunately, we also see perspectives.
