The token fruit basket and chair massages you see in job postings show that vitality is starting to become a lure, something people are looking for. As a company, you want to show that you are an attractive employer by embedding vitality in the corporate culture. How do you get started?

South Limburg Bereikbaar is working with René Lipsch. He is owner of OperaSana, a company that focuses on making and keeping companies vital. One of the ways he does this is by using a VitOScan. Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar offers employers the opportunity to take a VitOScan to map out how they are doing and where improvements can be made. The Municipality of Kerkrade and VISTA College were already active employers in the field of vitality and the VitOScan provided them with even more insights.

Vitality is customized

.

René Lipsch recommends the following to companies that want to improve vitality and active mobility:

.

- Make improvements from the employer approach. Why are your employees not currently cycling? The causes may lie with you as an employer; you may be able to make changes that do encourage the employee to cycle.

- Vitality is part of your employer branding (employer brand is the image people attribute to your company). Vitality is increasingly a lure in recruitment, and it's simply part of your organizational vitality. Going for a walk or working from home should be possible.

- Fly vitality as a management theme by constantly working from research to ask: What do your employees really need?"
