Do you recognize that? There's been an idea on the shelf for a while. You want to do something with residual streams or with green energy. Take your employees with you on digitalisation. Or finally get to work on a fun vlog about your company, renew your recruitment approach or refresh that onboarding programme......Wait no longer and present your case to the generation of the future.

Maartje Kessels - new addition to team Keyport - will take care of it for you. She knows her way around the world of education. She makes a match on form and content, provides the right guidance and puts motivated and talented students to work for your company. With surprising results.

Maartje Kessels lives in Herten and in her former role as Key Account Manager of Malmberg, she built a solid network within the education sector in the southern part of the Netherlands. "After that I was the initiator of the SVOPL project Het Talent Centraal that was taken over by CHILL (www.chillabs.nl) in 2020. There I am project leader, I work with the project Wanderful.Stream and now I get the opportunity to also connect companies in the Keyport region to education in a targeted way. My appeal is: make use of it and discover new ideas and talents in the region. Students have so much to offer the business world. And vice versa, an early contact between a student and a company helps to keep young talent for this region.

"An early contact between an apprentice and company helps to retain young talent for this region."

Case studies

"For Medicura in Nederweert, a group of exam students from ROER College Roermond are designing a modern crosswalker for their master's thesis. For Incatro in Herten, Technasium students set to work researching and designing new applications of rock wool and cutting waste textiles from  acoustic cloth. And for Kalle and Bakker, a number of Technasium pupils have been at work researching and coming up with new applications for cement sludge water. And that's one of the examples on the Willem Alexander industrial estate in Roermond where various projects are running in which education (VO-HBO) works with the municipality and companies on issues about circularity," says Maartje.
