3rd round Innovation Fund for low-carbon projects

From fossil fuels to green energy.

With the European Innovation Fund, the European Commission supports companies that develop new technologies for the energy transition. Already 3 Dutch hydrogen projects received this support from a previous round. In the autumn, companies will again have a chance to apply for the Innovation Fund.

The European Innovation Fund is one of the largest funding programs in the world. The European Commission (EC) is making a total of €10 billion available to fund innovative, low-carbon projects.

New call for Innovation Fund. 

In the fall, the EC will make a 3rd call. Projects that have been unsuccessful so far can also apply. To further reduce dependence on Russian fossil fuels, the commission is doubling the grant amount to about €3 billion.

Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) supports companies with serious interest in a contribution from the Innovation Fund.
