Young farmers can apply for a subsidy for physical investments in making their agricultural business more sustainable between now and February 7, 2020. This subsidy is part of the 'Subsidy Ordinance Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 Province of Limburg'.

Sustainability

This is the fifth opening of the Young Farmers Regulation within POP3. The aim is to support young farmers after taking over their farm to make their farms more sustainable by making certain types of investments. The investments contribute to an improvement of the environment, climate resistance, animal welfare, public or animal health, landscape, spatial quality or biodiversity.

Examples of such investments are solar panels, a mechanical manure separation plant, facilities for grazing, electric vehicles or a potting shed. The full list of eligible facilities and other conditions and obligations can be read here.

Applications

Applications for this grant can be made via the digital application form. This can still be done until February 7, 2020, 5 p.m.
