For last year, SME entrepreneurs could apply for a subsidy for human capital, aimed at the training and development of current or future staff. This subsidy module policy experiment human capital, or MKB!idea, was aimed at the technical SME under the Technology Pact. It has been decided to adapt the MKB!dee so that other SME entrepreneurs can also submit ideas.

Subsidy applications can be submitted from 15 April to 27 August 2019.

Widening of grant

The subsidy has been broadened, making it possible for entrepreneurs from other sectors to apply for a subsidy. Investments using the subsidy must be aimed at:

  • Technically trained personnel, make a contribution to increasing the number of technicians.
  • Digitalization, rapid technological development, globalization and societal challenges must contribute to the digital transition of the Dutch economy.
  • Climate and energy transition, deploy people and resources in a different way on innovative projects.

Subsidy

Subsidy is given to quality projects that contribute to the objectives. Submitted project plans that do not meet this and do not meet set grounds will be rejected. The minimum grant amount is set at € 25,000.

In order to submit a grant application, it is recommended that you carefully read the original grant opening and grant modifications, including all terms and conditions.
