As in previous years, SME entrepreneurs can apply for the SME Innovation Stimulation Top Sectors (MIT) South grant program in 2020. The opening dates for both the Feasibility projects and the R&D cooperation projects were announced in mid-February.
The MIT South scheme aims to stimulate innovation among SMEs. Projects must fit within at least one of the top clusters chosen by the south of the Netherlands in the RIS3 and within one or more themes from the Innovation Programs Top Sectors of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate. The set-up of the instruments in 2020 is almost identical to the set-up in 2019.
Opening dates
The opening dates are as follows:
- For MIT Feasibility (first come, first serve): April 7, 2020 9:00 am to September 10, 2020 5:00 pm
- For MIT R&D collaboration (tender process): June 11, 2020 9:00 am to September 10, 2020 5:00 pm
