The European innovation program for South Netherlands OPZuid focused on the top clusters Maintenance, Logistics and Biobased will be open from December 3, 2018 until June 7. The exception is the cluster Biobased, which closes on March 13, 2019. The cluster is focused on the specific sub-themes: biomass as a raw material and carbon circularity in products.

With the opening, companies, knowledge institutions and cities can get funding for innovation. Thus you can submit applications for innovative projects that stimulate open innovation within the three top clusters. This by, for example, living labs and living labs. Cooperation between companies, public institutions and end users is central. But also new combinations with other national and international top clusters.

Tender

The scheme works according to the tender principle, which means that applications are assessed on the basis of a number of quality criteria. A total amount of €15 million is available and the maximum subsidy for individual projects is €1 million.

Meeting

In order to arrive at a good quality project application, an information meeting will be held on 11 December in Venlo at Tegelseweg 255 from 15.00 to 18.00 hours. During this meeting you will receive information about the content and possibilities of the call, the assessment criteria will be explained and you will receive tips and tricks to prepare your application as good as possible. In addition, you will be inspired by the story of an entrepreneur with an ongoing 1B1 project.
