This year there is again an opening of the subsidy program SME Innovation Stimulation Top Sectors (MIT) South. The scheme is intended for projects that contribute to strengthening the innovation power of SMEs in several top sectors. The scheme has two instruments: Feasibility projects and R&D cooperation projects.
The submitted project must contribute to one or more themes from the innovation programs Top Sectors Logistics, Agri & Food, Chemistry & Biobased, High Tech Systems & Materials (including ICT and Solar), Life Sciences & Health and Horticulture & Uitgangsmaterialen.
MIT South Feasibility
- Aimed at projects that conduct feasibility studies in preparation for the development of an innovative product, production process or service.
- The subsidy amounts to 40% of the subsidy costs of a maximum of € 20,000 per project.
- The desk is open from 9 April 09.00 am - 10 September 17.00 pm
- Subsidy can be requested by an individual SME
- Applications are assessed on a first come, first serve basis. It is therefore recommended to submit by April 9.
- Applications can be submitted online.
MIT South R&D collaboration
- Aimed at projects of at least 2 SMEs that jointly contribute industrial research or experimental development to the renewal of or new products, processes or services.
- The subsidy amounts to 35% of the eligible costs with a maximum of € 350,000 per project.
- The counter is open from June 11, 09.00 am - September 10, 17.00 pm
- Applications are ranked based on quality. Within 12 weeks of the end of the opening period, applicants will receive the decision via a decision letter.
- Applications can be submitted online.
