In SMEs, learning and development among employees is less obvious than in larger companies. The government subsidy SLIM for SMEs must change this. The Limburg initiative Leo helps entrepreneurs to apply for this subsidy.

SLIM subsidy applications
Many SME entrepreneurs would like to invest in the development, training and coaching of employees throughout their careers, but do not always have the opportunities to do so. The government considers it important that everyone can continue to develop during his or her working life. With the incentive scheme Learning and Development in SME's (SLIM scheme) the government wants to make learning and development in the SME's the most normal thing in the world.
Activities
- An analysis within your company, resulting in a training or development plan. This plan will contribute to your company goals.
- The concrete execution of career or development advice for employees in the company. You can think of career advice, career aptitude tests and internal workshops. These activities ensure the healthy development of your employees and your company. With this approach you retain and develop the talents of your people.
- Support and guidance in the development or introduction of a method in your company that stimulates employees to further develop their knowledge, skills and professional attitude during their work.
- For a certain period of time to offer practical training placements for the purpose of vocational training or part of vocational training in the third learning path at a recognised training company.
Leo Loopbaan takes care of the implementation of these activities in addition to drawing up the plan and applying for subsidies. Where necessary, partners will be called in. Of course you can also have existing suppliers included in the plan.
