From October 5 to 16, nearly 1,000 visitors visited the Brightlands Campus in Venlo during the Dutch Agri Food Week (DAFW) 2018. The goal was to strengthen food innovation, share knowledge and enjoy healthy food. Now, and in 2050.

Farmers, entrepreneurs from supply and processing industries, retail, government and scientists showed how they work on safe and healthy food for ourselves and soon for 9 billion people worldwide.

After the successful start of the Dutch Agri Food Week on 5 October, hundreds of enthusiastic visitors visited various events.

For example, there was Tomorrow's Talent, where 100 students and 100 employers met in a special way.

The Smart Climate Opportunities Ideation Session enabled participants to recognize and capitalize on opportunities that climate change presents in their own organizations.

During Anders Boeren, farmers were encouraged to connect with their buyer with the principles of respect, cooperation and telling your story well.

With Pigs in the Pigture it became clear that the pig industry certainly sees opportunities in a rapidly changing market.

Yookr, LIOF and Brightlands showed during the Digital Farming session that technology and people are integrating more and more and why this is so important for your organization.

The CollEGGtor was also launched: the innovative egg-raising robot that will save poultry farmers a lot of time.
