Under the leadership of Minister Schouten of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV), the Cabinet decided which proposals will be developed into Regio Deals. North Limburg's successful proposal came about in cooperation with the Province and various regional partners. The central theme is contributing to a healthy, enterprising and safe North Limburg.
Chairman of the Northern Limburg Region Antoin Scholten: "This is fantastic news for the Northern Limburg Region. With the award, the State is giving us tremendous support to make the most of the regional ambitions and the potential that is present in the Region." The state contribution from the regional envelope and the agreements between the Province and the North Limburg Region are an important flywheel to powerfully implement and accelerate the ambitions from the Investment Agenda North Limburg presented in June 2019.
Cooperation pays off
