Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo expands with Bright House and Bright Village

Developments on the campus are moving at a breakneck pace. In order to continue growing, a Bright House (offices and laboratories) and a Bright Village (workshops) will be added behind the Innovatoren. The new buildings are intended for start-ups, entrepreneurs, knowledge institutions and research institutes. The buildings will already be largely in place next year.

Network Campus

In the meantime, 60 organizations and 16 R&D facilities are located on the campus, with a total of 650 employees and 400 students. "In addition to 'network campus', the campus increasingly fulfills a facilitating and connecting role for SMEs," Mackus says. The existing buildings Villa Flora and Innovatoren are almost full. Commissioner Mackus: "The developments are going faster than expected. In 2017, we expressed the ambition for the campus to grow into a 'place to be'. We are on the right track."
