Agricultural Quality Mark for Flex Living Introduced

The Agrarisch Keurmerk Flexwonen has been developed by employee organizations FNV and CNV, professional organizations KAVB, NFO and Glastuinbouw Nederland, the regional LTO organizations and LTO Netherlands. With the Agrarisch Keurmerk Flexwonen LTO Nederland supports entrepreneurs in agriculture and horticulture to offer a higher level of housing and thus distinguish themselves in a tight labor market.

The hallmark is an interpretation of the collective agreements for open cultivation and greenhouse horticulture. The standards also provide guidance to municipalities in the development of policy for housing on the farm.

Specially for the agricultural sector

The new label is tailored to the sector and also fits the often short period that people are housed, such as during the harvest of asparagus and hard fruit.

The Agrarisch Keurmerk Flexwonen will stand alongside the existing SNF quality mark for housing. This label did not cover the "category of other housing", while this category is important for the agricultural sector.
