A project in which you join forces through cross-border cooperation with another country, or even countries. That sounds nice and valuable, right? But how do you start this? How can you apply for a European subsidy and what is involved? When is your project or idea eligible for one of the European subsidy programs of Interreg? The Province of Limburg would like to help you or your organisation by discussing this with you. Read on and sign up! We look forward to meeting you soon.

What does an Interreg program involve?

The Interreg programs support cooperation between businesses, governments, the public/citizens and knowledge institutions.

Projects must contribute to current social challenges. These include climate, energy, health and the agricultural and food transition or digitalization.

You can discuss projects or ideas with us within the following Interreg programs:

  • Interreg Germany-Netherlands;
  • Interreg Euregio MaasRijn;
  • Interreg Flanders-Netherlands;
  • Interreg North-West Europe;
  • Interreg North-Sea Region.

Voor wie?

The sessions are intended for companies and organizations in Limburg that want to explore the possibilities of Interreg and/or are already looking for support in working up a concrete border-crossing project plan or project idea towards an Interreg application; Interested in talking to the Province? These are the two possibilities:

1. European kick-off sessions: on July 4, 6, or 8 one-on-one meeting with a project consultant from the Province

These sessions serve as support if you want to apply for one of the European grant programs.

During this one-on-one session of 60 minutes the Interreg advisers discuss the possibilities or work with you to concretize your project idea. They can also help you to find relevant partners for the project. Interested in signing up for such a European kick-off session on Monday 4, Wednesday 6 or Friday 8 July? This is possible on location or online. Sign up can be done via this application form.

2. Presentation on demand: the Province's project consultant will come to you

Our project advisors will be happy to come to you to give a presentation on the possibilities of crossborder cooperation within these programs and to answer questions.

They can explain to you more about the various themes and priorities, such as funding, process, matchmaking and networking.

They can also support you in framing Interreg correctly and give direct input regarding ideas.

Interested in requesting such a presentation for your organization or project? Send an email with the request to europeseprogrammas@prvlimburg.nl.
