The Limburg Circular Innovation Summit has announced the winner of Limburg and the recipients of the Golden Tickets to the national finals.

First, Human Material Loop, number one of the Limburg Circular Innovation Top 20, has excelled for their commitment to collaboration, scalability and innovation. Their efforts have not only had a significant impact on the region, but also serve as inspiration for circular progress nationally.

The Golden Ticket winners for the national finals are:

  • In the Circular Startup category: Human Material Loop

  • In the Circular Changemaker category: Ekowood Houses
  • In the Circular Community category: The Glassap

These companies have distinguished themselves for their innovative approach and dedication to advancing the circular economy. Their recognition highlights the importance of continued commitment to sustainability and progress in the industry.

Country finals on March 15, 2024

The holders of the "Golden Ticket to the National Final" will be invited to the Malietoren in The Hague on March 15 where, led by Joris Putman, they will engage in a discussion by category and the winner will be announced (via livestream).

Jury

The jury of the Limburg Circular Innovation Top 20 consists of Björn Koopmans (Program Manager at Chemelot Circular Hub), Nancy Bocken (Professor in Sustainable Business at Maastricht University), Mireille Schreurs (Business Innovation Team Limburg at Rabobank), Stephan Satijn (Provincial Executive member of the Province of Limburg responsible for economy), Ton Hagelstein (Program Manager & Secretary at Keyport) and Roger Feller (President Expertise Center Sustainability & Innovation at LWV).

About the Limburg Circular Innovation Top 20

The Limburg Circular Innovation Top 20 is an initiative of the Limburg Employers Association (LWV) and is co-sponsored by the Province of Limburg, Keyport, ESZL, municipality of Sittard-Geleen and Rabobank. With the event on March 13, we put circular innovations from Limburg in the spotlight and show what Limburg has to offer. The national final will take place on March 15, 2024.
