Pitch your idea and stand a chance to win the ActiZ-VGN-WDTM Innovation Award!

ActiZ, VGN and care technology association WDTM want to encourage startups that can accelerate care innovation in long-term care. Therefore, they are also organizing a pitch competition for promising startups this year. The Anders Werken in de Zorg movement supports this initiative. The final will take place on Thursday, April 11 on the main stage of the Care & ICT Exhibition. The winner will receive the ActiZ-VGN-WDTM Innovation Award and can use the experience and network of a professional guidance team for three months.

To be ready for the future, it is crucial that long-term care continues to innovate. That innovation is already taking place, but not at the speed and scale that is needed. That is why ActiZ, VGN and WDTM are calling on innovative startups to help accelerate care innovation.

VGN new co-organizer

Cooperation in (long-term) care is becoming increasingly important to cope with the increasing demand for care. That is why ActiZ and WDTM have invited VGN to extend this innovation award to disability care.

Pitch your idea

.

Do you have an innovative solution for the future of care, one that is already being used in elder care and/or disability care and can be used with both target groups? Then register your startup now for the pitch competition. Submit your pitch presentation, answer the questionnaire and have a chance to be invited to give your pitch live during the Zorg & ICT Beurs in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. An expert jury drawn from healthcare governance, finance and business will judge the pitches and announce the winning startup.

.

When selecting and judging, the main focus is on the impact that the innovative solution has on the healthcare process. This includes not only saving time or costs, but also elements such as improving the quality of care, easing the work of care workers or increasing job satisfaction.

The judges:

  • Alexander van Cappellen, CIO 3.0 of Zorgboog (jury chairman)
  • Brigitte Boon, director Academy het Dorp and professor Tilburg University
  • Sjim Romme, director of IFOZ (investor)
  • Hugo Broekman, director at Frionzorg in Zwolle and member of the Digitalization and Technological Innovation Administrative Advisory Committee of the VGN
  • .
  • Jef Mol, director of Thebe
  • Simone Meertens, director of ZuidOostZorg and director of Anders Werken in de Zorg
  • Vinood Mangroelal, CEO KPN Health
