Learning, connecting, looking ahead
The UMIO Inspiration Day was created to bring together professionals who want to invest in their own development and that of their organization. The idea: get away from the issues of the day, discover other perspectives, exchange experiences and get new ideas. Or, as the organization puts it: "We want to inspire people to actively engage in their professional development and to look at their work patterns and professional and organizational challenges from new insights."
The afternoon is free to attend and is aimed primarily at experienced professionals from sectors such as healthcare, education, government and other public domains. Those who have previously trained at UMIO are also welcome to return for an inspiring update and valuable networking.
An engaging program
.The program offers a mix of substantive sessions, hands-on insights and engaging encounters. Central themes include:
- Innovation and learning organizations
- (Effective) leadership
- HR and organizational development
- Economic and political impact of globalization
- AI and business analytics
The day will kick off with a stimulating keynote discussion with Rob Servais (Roda JC) and sports scientist Bas van Hooren. After that, participants can choose from several interactive breakout sessions that all revolve around one thing: increasing your repertoire of actions as a professional.
Science and practice come together
.What sets UMIO apart is the way science and practice go hand in hand. The trainings and sessions are firmly grounded in scientific knowledge, but always with a practical translation. The speakers and facilitators have often been active in the field themselves and know exactly how to translate theory into actionable insights you can apply immediately.
