After a successful pilot in Venlo, we are going to start with the roll-out in Roermond and Maastricht. We would like to make you more enthusiastic about the project 'Sustainable Business Parks' which is based on 2 pillars.

On the one hand the project will focus on the transition from fossil fuels to collective sustainable energy generation on business parks. On the other hand, the business parks will be adapted to climate change. By infiltrating rainwater as much as possible and through green design, business parks can be made climate proof.

Purpose of the project

.

The aim of the project is to have demonstrated the added value of a collective, integrated sustainability at the level of business parks in 2023.The collectivity provides an important contribution to the sustainability of business parks. The collectivity makes a significant contribution to sustainable energy production, efficiency and savings. Through the 'Demonstrations in Practice' we show that the approach works.

Projects

Data x-ray A first inventory of the necessary data on energy consumption at the level of companies, buildings and business parks is currently being made. Data is lacking on the generation capacity of renewable energy at the level of business parks or how much renewable energy is already being generated. The possibilities of mutual energy deliveries are also -initially- mapped out.

One of the first results in the Sustainable Business Parks project is a data x-ray of the business parks of Roermond and Maastricht. To be able to make this picture properly, quantitative economic, energetic, spatial and real estate information will be used.

We would like to get in touch with companies that produce residual heat in order to look at the options for reusing this sustainably.

Label C As of January 1, 2023, office buildings larger than 100 m2 must have at least energy label C. If the building does not meet the requirements by 2023, it may no longer be used as an office. This obligation is included in the Building Decree 2012 and applies to most existing office buildings.
