Support International Business (SIB) is a grant that helps you fund activities aimed at expanding your business opportunities in a specific foreign country, your target market. You can apply for a grant for various SIB activities. For example, for an expert to help you enter the market, or for trade fair participation or export training. You can apply for this grant from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026, subject to budget availability.
What do you wish to apply for funding for?
Help with my market entry
With the help of an external expert, you will start setting up new activities in your target country. These are aimed at positioning your product or service. The expert will introduce you to relevant local parties in the target country, amongst other things.
Grant amount:
50% of the costs up to a maximum of €2,500.
Gaining knowledge and skills
Together with an expert, you will gain knowledge about the legal and tax situation in your target country. You can also commission market research on the sector in the target country.
Grant amount:
50% of the costs up to a maximum of €2,500.
Export training and coaching
You can expand your knowledge of international business through export training. Or you can choose to discuss your export issues with a coach. After the training or coaching, you will have enough knowledge to, for example, draw up an export plan yourself.
Grant amount:
50% of the costs up to a maximum of €2,500 for export training and €1,000 for coaching.
Individual trade fair participation
You participate individually with your own company in a trade fair in a specific country. Your aim is to promote your product or service to potential customers in your target country. This also enables you to connect with potential partners and investors.
Grant amount:
50% of the costs up to a maximum of €2,500.
Joint trade missions and trade fairs
You will participate, together with other companies, in a mission or trade fair in a specific country. Your aim is to promote your product or service to potential customers in your target country. This also allows you to connect with potential partners and investors.
Grant amount:
50% of the costs up to a maximum of €1,500 for a trade mission and €2,500 for trade fair participation.
Search for alternative markets
Have you been affected by the war in Ukraine or the sanctions against Russia and the resulting trade restrictions? You can use this grant, amongst other things, if you wish to look for a replacement market.
Grant amount:
80% of the costs up to a maximum of €2,500.
