An important area of expertise of the Limburg Employers Association is sustainable business. Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are an integral part of today's economy. Due to the many changes in laws and regulations, in capacity and/or priority, many companies get stuck in their sustainability dossiers. But where do you start as an entrepreneur?
Through the LWV Business College we offer a platform where entrepreneurs can gain knowledge and share knowledge on the basis of various activities, both for themselves and for your organization. The trick is to link sustainability to everyday practice. In this Special Group we will be working on the strategy and organization around sustainability and this connection to everyday practice is central to the program.
For whom?
.Are you the entrepreneur or sustainability manager who, together with like-minded people, wants to work with an acceleration method to further shape the sustainability policy of your organization? Do you recognize yourself in the challenges below?
- How do you determine the relevance of sustainability and CSR?
- What level of ambition is appropriate for the organization?
- What are sustainability/MVO pillars you want to focus on, how can you embed these and make them manageable;
- How do you make the impact visible and communicate it effectively to employees, stakeholders and management / supervision;
How do we proceed?
The principle behind this Special Group is bring and take: you engage in a dialogue about the vision/relevance of sustainability, setting ambitions, and working out/implementing them.
Participants bring in their own brainpower and expertise, each participant contributes by actively reflecting from within their own organization. The sustainability expertise is secured in the person of the facilitator, who is experienced in developing sustainability strategies and the trade-offs involved.
The facilitator will be responsible for the development of the strategies.
In order to immediately apply the content and to live through the considerations and dilemmas, the content of this Special Group is built around two cases: for two of the participating organizations. Based on five sessions, the strategy & organization of sustainability is concretely worked out. The content of each session is directly linked to practice.
An exclusive setting is chosen for maximum interaction, so the final Special Group consists of eight to a maximum of ten people. Case contributors bring a second person along for additional knowledge input to secure the developed sustainability strategy/insights.
