To save you time, Octrooicentrum Nederland is organizing two workshop days in Roermond in November. So you can attend all our workshops within 2 days. Of course you can also choose to follow only one. On the workshop days themselves you also have the opportunity for a personal and confidential conversation with a patent advisor. Wednesday, November 1, 2023 Intellectual Property Strategy Workshop 09:30 - 12:00 This workshop will focus on strategic intellectual property considerations. We will discuss topics such as Freedom to Operate, consulting intellectual property databases and what you can learn from them, patent application considerations, and building your own intellectual property rights. Patent Masterclass (With Patent Attorney following) 12:45 - 17:00 In this workshop we take a closer look at patents. How are patent applications evaluated, what are the application procedures and what are the costs? Afterwards, a patent attorney will answer your practical questions. Wednesday, November 15, 2023 Workshop Searching Patent Databases 09:30 - 12:00 Do you want to learn to find your way through 140 million patent publications? Then this workshop is for you. During this workshop theory, practical examples and classroom and individual assignments alternate. You will learn different methods to search patent databases, interpret the search results and check the validity of patents. Workshop Smart Knowledge in Collaboration 12:45 - 16:30 Innovating together offers benefits, but also pitfalls. In this workshop we take a closer look at what role intellectual property can play in collaboration. What should you think about, what agreements should you make, and how does it work with ownership of Intellectual Property? Participation is free. Tijdens deze workshop wisselen theorie, praktische voorbeelden en klassikale en individuele opdrachten elkaar af. U leert verschillende methoden om te zoeken in octrooidatabanken, de zoekresultaten te interpreteren en de geldigheid van octrooien te controleren.

Workshop Slim omgaan met kennis bij samenwerking 12:45 - 16:30 Samen innoveren biedt voordelen, maar ook valkuilen. In deze workshop gaan we dieper in op welke rol intellectueel eigendom kan spelen bij samenwerking. Waar moet u over nadenken, welke afspraken moet u maken, en hoe werkt het met eigenaarschap van Intellectueel Eigendom?
