Who are you? Parkmanagement BV is the knowledge center on park management in the Netherlands and takes care of park management on Limburg business parks. 

What do you do? Parkmanagement BV focuses on improving the integral quality on business parks, whereby improving the cooperation between companies and the authorities is central. In addition, Parkmanagement BV leads a number of strategic projects in the field of sustainability & innovation, circularity, digital transition and corporate social responsibility

For whom? Business associations, governments, and all other interested parties.

Other info The park manager ensures that the business park is maintained in a representative manner and that a safe working environment is created that is easily accessible. As the point of contact for business owners, the park manager is the focal point at the business park. The park manager acts proactively, informs entrepreneurs regularly through mailings and newsletters, and organizes meetings with the business association, entrepreneurs, and the government.

In addition to the above, the park manager organizes a collective purchasing package, which Park Management members can use to their advantage. Each client has its own account park manager. In addition, all park managers also work flexibly on a project basis for other foundations and large umbrella projects, as a result of which our employees can specialize and our efficiency is increased. In addition, this construction ensures that foundations do not become dependent on a single park manager. Another additional advantage is that, where desirable, scale can be created by linking projects across foundations.

Parkmanagement BV is unique in its size, knowledge and experience, methods of operation and relationship with the LWV.

Parkmanagement BV deals with major transition themes such as sustainability & innovation, circularity and digitalization and offers them to its members in project form. This allows entrepreneurs to easily step in and co-develop in these areas.

Sustainable business parks

Foundation Sustainable Business Parks is a collaboration between OV, LWV, and Gemeente Venlo. The Association for Entrepreneurial Venlo is the coordinator of the Sustainable Business Parks project.

The project 'Sustainable Business Parks' rests on two pillars. On the one hand, the project will focus on the change from fossil fuels to collective renewable energy generation on business parks. On the other hand, the business parks will be adapted to climate change. By infiltrating rainwater as much as possible and through green design, business parks can be made climate proof. All successes achieved in this project will be rolled out on all business parks that are affiliated with Parkmanagement BV.

Circular business parks

Circularity is high on the agenda at all levels of government. Business parks are lagging behind considerably in this transition. It proves difficult to take steps in this direction for various municipalities. Parkmanagement BV is committed to collaboration and awareness. By mapping waste streams, we can discover which raw materials can be reused.

Within Parkmanagement BV we have been working on a joint waste collective for 15 years. Now it is time for the next steps to make the business parks more sustainable towards 2030. The focus is on mutual cooperation and sharing knowledge about waste prevention, waste separation and the processing of waste into secondary raw materials.

Circular water

Responsible water use is an increasingly important topic on companies' sustainability calendar. Committing to sustainable water solutions can even generate savings. On the other hand, we are confronted with the consequences of climate change and socio-economic developments, which make the availability of (drinking) water no longer a matter of course in the future. Water is used by industry for cooling, heating (steam) and as process water. To get an idea of the possibilities in the field of sustainable water solutions, it is important to map the water management of your company. When understanding the water flows, we look at water quantity, water quality and reuse of water, among other things. It is important that the focus is not only within the own company, but also to the environment.

WML, WBL, Evilim Industriewater, Parkmanagement BV and the LWV have joined forces to support companies in this. The goal of the collaboration is to identify opportunities in the field of circular water on business estates.
