Review meeting Grid Congestion and the Role of Battery Storage and Conversion to Hydrogen in Limburg
Last Wednesday, June 29, we organized in cooperation with the Province of Limburg and the Northern Limburg region the meeting: Grid congestion and the role of battery storage and conversion to hydrogen in Limburg. We look back on a successful meeting, during which the results of the study by Berenschot and the OpZuid subsidy scheme were explained. We asked the participants what the Province can do, in cooperation with the RES, to better support in this area. A number of pillars came out of this:Regiehouder
The Province can be the direction holder and thus maintain an overview of the subject. Think for example of the lobby towards the national government with regard to making regulations more flexible. We have done quite well locally, let there be room for this. In addition to large projects, also give innovative and small projects a chance. Innovative projects can be risky, but look for innovation steps that are not common.
Knowledge sharing/communication
Organize these kinds of meetings more often and inform stakeholders about the current state of affairs. What projects are running? Who is involved and what subsidy possibilities are there at the moment? We agreed that the Province and the RES NML would take up this topic together and add it to this newsletter. More on this later.
