Bas Corstjens runs the Marbriq metalworking company in Maarheeze with his father. Together they wanted to set up a plan to transfer the business from father to son as well as possible. Through Rabobank, Bas came into contact with Keyport and the Business accelerator project. Both organizations sponsor participation for entrepreneurs in this project. In project The Business accelerator, father and son worked on an ambitious 1000 day goal to grow into a serial production company. This provides the joint focus to take the right steps.
"It helps tremendously that you work with other entrepreneurs not IN, but ON your business."
The Business Accelerator
Within the Keyport project Business Accelerator, Guido Boosten guides entrepreneurs to find their own focus and innovative power and turn it into a concrete approach. Bas set up a three-year plan with realistic goals and a pragmatic approach. "Together we discussed the possible obstacles and looked for the best approach for us. It helps enormously that you work together with other entrepreneurs not "IN", but "ON" your business."
Keyport and technical staff
"I advise entrepreneurs to also contact Keyport" continues Bas. "They can put you in touch with interesting projects and people. This way they also make the connection between education and entrepreneurs. This brings young children into contact with local companies and we can interest them in a local career. For example, at Mabriq in Maarheeze. Contact is made in no time via Keyport.nl.
