Patrick Muezers, Managing Director of Polyscope tells: 

"Polyscope is a multicultural company with different nationalities including Lan Lu from China. Lan has been living in the Netherlands for several years. This is how we came up with the idea to introduce our people to the Chinese language and culture. It is important for everyone who works internationally to understand other cultures. Especially for sales people. Immersing yourself in the customs of a country is extremely important. It is great to see that colleagues are really engaged with the Chinese language and culture. There is healthy competition about who has mastered the Chinese alphabet. But the added value lies mainly in the learning together, looking for a connection.

The will to learn and continue to develop With offices in the US, China, Singapore and Europe, the group of Polyscope employees can be called very international. In Europe, people work from countries such as Germany, France and Italy. Recently a Brazilian R&D person was added to the team in Geleen. That makes this scale-up a company with an open mind, the will to learn and to keep developing. And despite the variety of nationalities and therefore cultures, the family feeling is palpable. Informal activities such as a ladies' dinner and soccer competition contribute to this. And the Chinese lessons of course. Ni hao.
