New grant scheme for food industry companies
Good news: companies in the food industry can use the 'FIT2030' subsidy scheme in 2023. With this subsidy scheme, the government wants to stimulate technical and social innovation in order to make companies future-proof. This grant scheme is made possible in part by the Food Industry Development Fund Foundation (SOL).
Why was this grant scheme introduced?
n 2021, a sector analysis was conducted for the food industry. This shows that the sector needs to make a major transition in the coming years. Three topics stand out in particular: 1. Food Transition (Changing raw materials from greatly changing consumer needs) 2. Sustainability (Pressure from society, government and market) 3. Technological developments (Increase in the impact of technology)
These developments impact both work and workers and put pressure on the match between work and workers. The sector therefore faces many challenges around sustainable employability and heavy work.
With the FIT2030 subsidy scheme, SOL wants to accommodate and support companies in the food industry in solving these issues.
What are the opportunities for your company?
Together with other selected training partners, five concrete themes have been put together. Food industry companies can purchase training, courses and education from these trainers with a discount of 35%. The five themes under which the courses fall are: 1. Vitality 2. Good employment 3. Lifelong Development 4. Own Direction 5. Earlier Retirement
