MIT South program: grant for an R&D collaboration project.

The MIT South scheme aims to stimulate innovation within SMEs. Under the MIT South, financial support is possible for an R&D collaboration project in the field of research and development.

Project by partnership of at least two SMEs focused on industrial research or experimental development that contributes to the innovation of products, processes or services, or leads to substantial new application of existing products, processes or services.

Subsidy opportunities

.

The grant for an R&D collaboration project is 35% of the eligible costs, up to a maximum of €350,000 per application. A minimum of 25,000 euros and a maximum of 100,000 euros of subsidy will be provided per participant in the collaboration project, in case the total subsidy amount is up to 200,000 euros. If the total grant amount exceeds 200,000 Euros and up to 350,000 Euros, a maximum of 175,000 Euros of grant will be provided per participant. A maximum of 50% of the grant ceiling for R&D collaboration projects will be awarded for applications with a grant amount of 200,000 euros to 350,000 euros.

The MIT Zuid is aimed at innovative SMEs. Under the Feasibility Projects individual SMEs can apply, for R&D collaboration projects the scheme is open to partnerships consisting of at least two SMEs. Only SMEs are eligible for subsidies.
