Keyport supports entrepreneurs with grant for business strategy!

Boosting your stagnant business growth, addressing labor market challenges, increasing your social impact, or keeping your revenue model going while transitioning to a circular business? For both large and small entrepreneurs, there are plenty of good reasons to participate in program Business Roadmaps. Keyport now offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to participate with an attractive subsidy.

On behalf of the municipalities in the region of Midden-Limburg / Cranendonck, Keyport supports projects that strengthen the economic structure. A number of these projects are aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, such as the KOERS project: Powerful Entrepreneurship and Result-oriented Strategy. Within this project, the Business Roadmaps program is offered. Keyport now offers entrepreneurs in the region the opportunity to participate in the program with an attractive subsidy: instead of € 2,500 they pay € 1,000 (ex. VAT). These costs are also tax deductible.

Program with impact

Keyport believes in the Business Roadmaps program because it has already helped many entrepreneurs successfully on their way. For example, with the help of Business Roadmaps, a technical company developed an 'out of the box' strategy to recruit new employees: instead of only recruiting in its own region where the pool is getting thinner, the company developed a completely new strategy in which virtual offices are realized nationwide. In this way, the company not only reaches the local labor market, but can attract staff from all over the Netherlands. Various startups in the sports/life science sector that entered the scale-up phase developed plans with the help of Business Roadmaps to create ambassadors in the top segment of their market that boosted further growth. Agricultural entrepreneurs made plans to keep their revenue model going while tilting their business toward circular agriculture. A company in the manufacturing industry whose growth was stagnant was able to boost it again thanks to Business Roadmaps with a much clearer positioning and offer for (potential) customers. But Business Roadmaps can also mean a lot to smaller entrepreneurs. For example, a participant who wanted to help young people with problems developed from a do-gooder without a clear approach into an entrepreneur with a plan. With the help of Business Roadmaps she set up (satellite) organizations as self-managing teams. And in doing so, she was able to create much more impact than she ever dreamed of before her participation.  

Entrepreneurial Dream

That entrepreneurial dream is very important at Business Roadmaps. It looks not only at the business goals, but also at the personal side of entrepreneurship. "Many entrepreneurs have forgotten at some point from what dream they once started their business, or it has changed along the way," explains Business Roadmaps coach Jean-Paul Urlings. "With Business Roadmaps we bring that ambition back into view, both privately and professionally. And there are no bulky plans involved: under the guidance of an experienced coach the plan is worked out in no more than 5 clear pages. Participants receive online support; feedback from the coach himself to start with, but they also get access to the online academy where they can spar with coaches and fellow entrepreneurs and exchange experiences. The program is rounded off with the Business Roadmaps Strategy Canvas: a clear view from the starting point to the desired future." Aftercare is also provided for: after completing the program, participants keep unlimited free access to the online academy for support. "We find this very important, because during the implementation of the strategy there are always new challenges on the path of the entrepreneur that he or she had not (could not) foresee when developing the strategy. In the online academy they can then always go with their question for help."
