These three companies secured their seats during the pit event on Wednesday, May 29. This allowed these entrepreneurs to test their innovation during Zomerparkfeest TestLab. The purpose of these tests is to improve the innovations.
ioThings ioThings uses the best and most innovative techniques to develop user-friendly and high quality Internet of Things products, which can solve real problems. The innovation tested by ioThings at Zomerparkfeest TestLab is the ioButton. This is an innovative, zero-maintenance, wireless emergency call system. The ioButton shortens the time it takes for help to arrive at the right place. After all, every second counts! ioTings has tested the ioButton's suitability for applications at a festival and whether the technology works within the context of a festival with many visitors.
SAM Panels SAM Panels is a pioneer in the field of sustainable production and develops sheet material based on recycled organic residues. These are Sustainable Advanced Materials such as grass, cow dung and hemp dust. These materials are used because they are stronger and offer more design freedom like traditional sheet materials. This makes SAM Panels' products suitable for various applications. During Zomerparkfeest TestLab, SAM Panels tested whether their sheet material is also suitable for outdoor applications at a festival. Examples include an information column, price lists and bar parts.
Cyclups Cyclups makes straws and cutlery from biodegradable and compostable material. This material is called PLQ (Plantastiq) and is a bio-based alternative made from residual grain (logs) waste. The result of this cutlery is that there is no unnecessary waste and no microplastic pollution takes place. Cyclups is contributing to a plastic-free future thanks to its product. At Summer Park Festival TestLab, Cyclups tested their straws and cutlery on a large scale.
