The Knowledge and Information subsidy scheme in the province of Limburg is open! This scheme is part of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). The aim is to strengthen the Limburg agriculture and horticulture sector with new knowledge and ideas. In this way, the scheme contributes to future-proof agriculture, with attention to important themes such as the environment, biodiversity, climate and water. Themes
.Knowledge and innovation are important to develop the sector sustainably. They also help farmers to maintain a good income in the future. Therefore, subsidies can be applied for activities such as training, workshops, coaching, education and demonstrations.
Budget
.For the above activities €733,384 subsidy is available. There is a minimum grant of €50,000 and a maximum of €100,000. The maximum grant rate is 80%.
Cooperation
.Cooperation is mandatory: entrepreneurs like to learn from each other. Only projects carried out in a cooperation are eligible for subsidy. The cooperation must consist of at least one farmer and one knowledge institution. The collaborative project must predominantly take place in the province of Limburg or the results of the project must demonstrably benefit the province of Limburg.
