Submitting candidates for Circular Awards

Are you working on circular initiatives or know someone who is making a great contribution to the circular economy? The application for candidates is now open! There are three categories: Business, Public and Chain. In addition, there is an award for the Circular Hero. A jury of experts will choose three nominees per category. You can vote on these live during the National Conference Circular Economy, on March 20, 2025 in Leeuwarden. The Circular Hero will be chosen by the jury. The winner will also be announced during the conference.

Why participate?

The presentation of the Circular Awards 2025 is one of the highlights of the Week of the Circular Economy. Winners receive honors and exposure. The winning products, projects or services are presented as Dutch examples during international (trade) tours.

The Circular Awards are organized on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management by Helder en Duidelijk, in cooperation with Het Groene Brein.

Registration of candidates is possible until January 15, 2025.

Important dates

• January 15, 2025 - Closing date for entries
• January 27, 2025 - Announcement of shortlist
• February 3, 2025 - Jury deliberations
• February 5, 2025 - Announcement of finalists
• March 20, 2025 - Final and award ceremony during the National Conference on Circular Economy in Leeuwarden
