CRDL [Cradle] is an interactive healthcare tool that enables a new form of contact by translating touch between people into sound. CRDL is designed for people who have difficulties with communication and/or social interaction - such as people suffering from dementia, autism or intellectual disabilities - as well as their environment. By approaching physical contact playfully and inquisitively, CRDL bypasses existing conventions associated with touch.
