CAP knowledge and information scheme Limburg open

From October 21, 2024 09:00 a.m. to January 6, 2025 17:00 p.m., subsidies within the CAP Knowledge and Information Scheme can be applied for in the province of Limburg.

The Knowledge and Information opening provides for the need to support entrepreneurs in the transition to a more sustainable agriculture through knowledge dissemination, awareness and information. To do this, however, the advice must be integral (considering multiple topics in their context) and tailored to the specific circumstances of the farm. Agricultural entrepreneurs learn in different ways. In this Knowledge and Information intervention, customization for each target group is pursued in order to maximize effectiveness.

The activities have a collective character and should target several farmers at the same time, but as part of this, individual activities (such as entrepreneurial coaching) to several farmers at the same time can be included in the project. In particular, activities aimed at farmers include training, workshops, entrepreneurial coaching, information actions and demonstration projects. These involve knowledge exchange around a specific topic. The aim is to inform farmers about new, but existing, knowledge and innovations in agriculture that lead to their application and contribute to the sustainability of the sector.

What can a grant be applied for?

Subsidy can be applied for training, workshops, coaching, information actions and demonstration activities to groups of farmers, where demonstration activities are a mandatory component.

Who can apply for a grant?

Subsidy can be applied for by partnerships consisting of at least two knowledge providers, with at least one knowledge institution and at least one farmer participating as a knowledge provider.
