One-stop shop for digitization issues
The Brightlands Digitale Werkplaats MKB is an initiative of the Brightlands Smart Services Campus and its partners, which brings together supply and demand in the field of digitization of SMEs. The workshop acts as an umbrella counter where entrepreneurs can go with their digitization issues.
Experts in the field of digitization
Next, those entrepreneurs are linked to our community of experts (companies and knowledge institutions) and SME initiatives (including the SME Data Lab and the Cyber Resilience Expertise Center). Those experts formulate a joint offer to the entrepreneurs based on their specific question or problem and then take that entrepreneur a step further in their digitization process.
In addition, the experts on the campus develop specific propositions in the field of, for example, cyber security or data analytics. In this way, we try to offer the possibilities of digitalization ready-made.
Additional services
In addition to the necessary expertise in the field of digitization, the workshop also has the necessary additional services that enable innovation and digitization. These include consultancy services in the direction of grants, funding, legal matters (e.g. IP), datasets and scientific knowledge.
These services are all available through our shared service center and are there to make it as easy as possible for entrepreneurs in their digitization processes.
Physical meeting place
The workshop also has a physical location on the campus in Heerlen where entrepreneurs can go to be inspired to digitize. This makes the workshop an accessible one-stop-shop for digitization issues from SMEs.
