Brussels - The European EENergy project is launching its second open call to support SMEs in their transition to greater energy efficiency. The open call, part of the Single Market Program (SMP), provides financial and advisory assistance to SMEs in EU countries, with the aim of strengthening sustainability and economic resilience.
Main details about the EENergy call:
- Duration: December 2, 2024 to February 28, 2025, 17:00 CET.
- Available budget: €2.29 million, with a maximum of €10,000 per SME selected.
- Target group: SMEs established before January 1, 2024 in an EU country
- Purpose: Improve energy efficiency by at least 5% (kWh) through investment, consultancy and training.
Pre-selection - conditions:
- Your company falls under the definition of SME
- You can demonstrate your energy consumption and costs for the entire calendar year 2024
- You can invest in energy-saving initiatives during the period half of May - December 31, 2025 (You will receive the grant through declarations)
- The planned activities lead to at least 5% energy savings (The reduction is measured in terms of energy consumption in kWh.)
- You maynot use(additional) public subsidies or tax benefits (NL or International) for the energy saving initiatives!

Companies from the energy-intensive industry or companies that can demonstrate more than 40% energy costs on total costs, have priority!
