Incentive program for energy hubs

Spread over seven years, the nine Regional Development Companies (ROMs) in the Netherlands, will receive 166 million euros to stimulate and develop energy hubs, of which 2.5 million in 2024. We are using this funding to work with provinces, grid operators and municipalities to strengthen regional cooperation for energy hubs. In Zeeland, this is visible through the Zeeland Grid Solutions Taskforce.

Grid congestion

Net congestion makes it impossible for businesses with consumption greater than 3 x 80 amps to apply for or expand an electricity connection. This directly impacts your growth and sustainability goals.

Zeeland Net Solutions Task Force

The complexity of this problem requires a collective approach. In addition to a technical aspect, there is also an organizational side to it. That is why the Taskforce Zeeuwse Netoplossingen was set up from the Energy Council: a collaboration of the Province of Zeeland, Impuls Zeeland, Stedin, Tennet, VNO-NCW Zeeland, Smart Delta Resources and North Sea Port.
