Collaborating with robots, automating with AMRs and the power of vision technology - find out during this hands-on workshop!
Are you curious about how to improve manufacturing processes with robots that work seamlessly with humans, autonomous robots that navigate autonomously, and vision technology for advanced quality control? Then come to this workshop and experience for yourself how these technologies can make your work processes faster, smarter and safer.
The workshop consists of a theoretical part and a live demonstration of advanced equipment. It is an interactive workshop with plenty of room for questions.
On stage:
- Jeroen Rondeel of Blue Engineering talks about robotization and the implementation process.
- Roy Tillemans of Cognex. He takes us into the world of Machine Vision and AI.

Cobot:
Discover the benefits of cobots (collaborative robots) that can work safely alongside humans without safety fencing. We will demonstrate how a cobot can be used effectively for palletizing. You'll see the cobot in action when stacking products, and learn about the capabilities and speeds this technology offers.
AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot):
Meet our AMR, a robot that can autonomously navigate different spaces. This technology is commonly used in warehouses to safely and efficiently transport goods from one location to another. During the workshop you will see how the AMR picks up a full pallet from the cobot and travels a certain distance independently.
Vision Technology - Cognex:
Learn about the capabilities of Cognex vision technology! We will show you the precision of 2D and 3D scans. Think 2D scans of PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) me t fuses, and 3D detection to recognize product qualities such as dimples. We'll also show how Cognex systems can recognize barcodes, letters and words for a wide range of applications.
Robot and Cognex Camera Integration:
Experience how vision technology can optimize robot performance. By integrating a Cognex camera with a robot, we can determine exactly what the robot should detect and perform, leading to focused programming and maximum precision.
