Content webinar

During the webinar, topics covered include:

The TCO of an (e-)truck

When buying a truck, you obviously look at the investment. But there are many other costs you incur over the lifetime of a truck. For example, maintenance, fuel/energy, insurance and taxes. We call this total price Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). During the webinar we will explain all aspects that influence the TCO of a truck. For example, the diesel price, which is sure to rise in the coming years. But also the kilometer charge for trucks such as MAUT in Germany and the truck charge that will apply in the Netherlands from July 1, 2026. Both charges are considerably more advantageous for zero-emission trucks. We also talk about the change from HBEs to EREs. These are certificates you can sell if your company has charging stations that charge vehicles.

Subsidy AanZET

.

An important part of the TCO is the AanZET subsidy. From September 30, 2025 you can apply for this subsidy if you want to buy or financially lease a new zero-emission truck. During the webinar you will hear what to think about if you want to apply for this subsidy.

Practical examples TCO

.

There are many variables that determine the TCO of a truck. Our logistics brokers have a TCO tool in which they can enter all those variables. For example, also the number of miles a truck travels annually. During the webinar we will show for some concrete situations: what is the TCO if you drive a diesel truck and what is the TCO with an e-truck.

Is 2025 indeed the first year that an electric truck will be cheaper than a diesel one at the bottom line? By the end of this webinar, you'll know the answer.
