We cordially invite you to the first session of the Tech Talks series, in which we explore the power of AI and robotics in agriculture. These talks are designed to inspire and inform about breakthrough technologies that are changing the way we grow, harvest and distribute food. From precision agriculture to automated harvest systems, how can digital innovations contribute to a more efficient, sustainable and resilient agricultural sector?
Lection 1: Thinking in Ecosystems to Unlock the Full Potential of Robots and AI
.In the first lecture, we will explore insights from the Horizon Europe project CoRoSect. Led by Maastricht University, a consortium of 19 partners has successfully developed an innovative, human-centered robotic ecosystem for the next generation of insect farms.
The session provides an overview of key components, such as network-based cognitive robots, the digital infrastructure and AI support systems that ensure human workers and operators remain in control. We will discuss the challenges and opportunities in creating a connected ecosystem where sensors, machines and analytics work together seamlessly.
Whether you are a technology enthusiast, researcher or agricultural professional, this lecture will provide valuable insights into the fundamental systems that support the future of smart agriculture.
Don't miss this opportunity to learn, network and be inspired!
