
We are proud to invite you to this year's 8th edition of the Nanotechnology Crossing Borders symposium. It will take place on October 21, 2025 at the Brightlands Chemelot Campus, Geleen. This year's focus areas are Circular Energy Efficient Windows, Biofabrication, Photo(electro)chemical Manufacturing and Innovative Solar Energy Technologies.
This year's keynote speakers are:
- Lorenzo Moroni (UMaastricht-MERLN) - "Biofabrication Technologies: a unifying platform for biotechnology applications, from medicine to alternative food"
- Nathalie Claes (University of Antwerp): "Advances in transmission electron microscopy for catalyst nanomaterials under reaction conditions"
Why you want to participate in this symposium:
- Internationally renowned speakers
- Poster presentations by students from universities and colleges
- Awards for the students with the best posters and the smoothest presentations. An international jury will select the three best posters who will be awarded €250 (1st place), €150 (2nd place) and €100 (3rd place)
The symposium is free, but registration via the website is mandatory. We encourage (PhD) students to present their work in the form of posters, which can be indicated on the registration form. About 150 seats are available. First come, first served!
