Stimulus meeting - OPZuid 2025

Stimulus is organizing a meeting in Roermond on Tuesday, Feb. 18, namely in the context of the OPZuid ERDF program. Learn about the program and grant opportunities within the next opening (Feb. 24 to April 4, 2025) and listen to several experience stories.

On behalf of the provinces of Zeeland, Noord-Brabant and Limburg we invite you to the information meetings in February 2025 that we are organizing in each province within the framework of the OPZuid ERDF program 2021-2027. During a practical and interactive meeting we will inform you about the program and grant opportunities within the next opening (February 24, 2025 09:00 am to April 4, 2025 17:00 pm). Several speakers will talk about their experiences with an OPZuid grant.

What

OPZuid is a European program that stimulates innovation projects in the Southern Netherlands region that contribute to societal transitions in the areas of climate, energy, raw materials, agriculture and nutrition and health. The program is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Ministry of Economic Affairs and the provinces of Zeeland, North Brabant and Limburg. Potential applicants include SMEs, knowledge institutions, governments and civil society organizations.

During the plenary session, we will zoom in on the grant opportunities, application procedures and evaluation criteria. There will also be several speakers, with useful tips & tricks, who will talk about their experiences with an OPZuid grant.

Program Limburg

There are two rounds of three workshops to choose from. The first workshop is given by Stimulus Program Management and is about the application and evaluation process. The second workshop will be given by LIOF and will include project development and consortium formation. The last workshop is given by the Province of Limburg and deals with Limburg co-financing and policy approach. After the workshops, we will close together with the experiences from a Limburg OPZuid project. Afterwards there will be a pleasant networking lunch. During the whole meeting you can ask questions.

Depthening program for individual applicants in Limburg

Following the regional information meeting in Limburg, the Province of Limburg is organizing an in-depth program for potential applicants in cooperation with Stimulus Program Management. Your project idea and/or concept application will be discussed in the setting of an individual consultation. The province is also organizing further sparring sessions in cooperation with LIOF.
