New edition day of manufacturing

On Sunday, October 6, is the 2nd edition of the Day of the Manufacturing Industry in Central Limburg and the surrounding area. Companies will open their doors to the general public to give a positive impulse to their name recognition and image and to be more visible as a potential employer. During the 1st edition in October 2023, 13 companies participated and together welcomed more than 4,000 visitors. This led to many positive reactions, excellent visitor ratings for the manufacturing companies and a number of new employees at the participating companies.

Companies are again invited to participate in the open company day that takes place in a collaboration with Keyport. Participating manufacturing companies receive professional guidance in organizing the open day, a comprehensive promotional package and also become part of a large-scale promotional campaign in the region themselves. In addition, an online employer branding campaign will be set up and funded by Keyport. Finally, the companies will receive an extensive report after the event with valuable feedback from visitors and the individual reach of the online promotional campaign.

For companies wishing to host interested apprentices, a program will be organized on the Monday, Oct. 7, together with schools in the region. Companies interested will be guided in setting up an appropriate program for the students. The educational organizations will select and organize apprentices and transportation and provide proper guidance.

To participate, a contribution is requested where there is the possibility of a grant of up to 3,000 euros, which significantly reduces the cost of participation.
