Dutch horticulture is considered one of the most important economic sectors in the Netherlands and has a unique position worldwide. With our vegetables, fruits, trees, seeds, bulbs, flowers and plants we have a mix of products, with which we daily make a direct and indispensable contribution to a healthier life and broad prosperity.

How do we visibly strengthen that role and our impact as a horticultural chain in the future? During the National Horticultural Congress 2025, we will take you through a day-long inspiring program in which we will search together for answers to increase our impact.

This year's congress begins with a morning program full of inspiration during an impact tour with young entrepreneurs and start-ups at the Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo, an afternoon program with powerful keynotes on system change, followed by dialogue and in-depth breakout sessions around impact themes such as (mental) health, climate adaptation, technology & innovation. In addition, more extensive networking opportunities.

We would like to hear from you:We are delighted to organize this year's congress in Venlo. We realize that for some regular visitors to the congress this means a longer travel time. To make your trip to Venlo as pleasant as possible, we would like to take stock of whether there is interest in one of the options below:

• Network bus: Are you interested in traveling to Venlo by bus from a central location in the Netherlands? During the ride you can get acquainted and network with other participants while enjoying a light breakfast.
• Carpooling: Would you like to take advantage of a carpool opportunity that we can offer you via a special app.
• Accommodation & Additional Program: Are you interested in staying overnight and participating in a complementary morning program on Thursday, Sept. 25.
