Final Limburg Circular Innovation Summit 2023

On Monday, Jan. 9, the jury met to compile the Limburg Circular Innovation Top 2023 from all the entries. These innovations were nominated for the public prize of €1,000. In addition, the six best entries are in the running for the jury prize of €3,000. Both winners will be announced during the live broadcast on Wednesday, Feb. 8.

The nominated contenders for the Limburg Circular Innovation Summit 2023 are: Arapaha BV, BESIX Infra Nederland BV, Blockmaterials BV, CoTown BV, Cyclin BV, Cyclups Creation BV, Fresh Peppers BV, Grassa BV, Green Road Equipment BV, Greenholds, Groente & Fruitbrigade, Metalflowerbox, REMADE in HOLLAND, Solarge International BV and TUSTI.

Announcement of jury and audience award

Winners will be announced during National Circular Economy Week. The final on Wednesday, February 8, can be followed live via an online broadcast, presented by Elske Verbraak from the LWV location in Roermond.

The jury will judge the entries on degree of circularity, degree of collaboration in the chain, scalability and innovative character. The top six nominees will pitch their innovation during the finals on Feb. 8, after which the jury will announce the winner. Viewers will vote for their favorite from the entire Top 2023.

Viewers who register to follow the finals online can vote for the winner of the audience award during the live broadcast. They can register using this form. Jury

The jury of the Limburg Circular Innovation Top 2023 consists of Björn Koopmans (Program Manager Chemelot Circular Hub), Nancy Bocken (Professor of Sustainable Business at Maastricht University), Hans de Kinderen (Chairman of the Board of Rabobank Weerterland and Cranendonk), Stephan Satijn (Member of the Provincial Executive of the Province of Limburg and responsible for economy and education, among other things) and Gé Moonen (Chairman of the Sustainability & Innovation Expertise Center of the LWV).

About the Limburg Circular Innovation Summit 2023

The Limburg Circular Innovation Summit 2023 is an initiative of the Limburg Employers Association (LWV), in cooperation with the Province of Limburg, Keyport, ESZL and Rabobank. The aim of the summit is to show what Region Limburg has to offer in the field of circular innovations and to take these circular innovations a step further.
