3D printing is a modern way of manufacturing where almost no material is wasted. The printer builds the product layer by layer. This makes 3D printing promising for the future. In fact, it is already possible to print different materials in one product, such as plastic, ceramic and metal. Once the printing process runs, you almost don't have to look after it: you set up the machine, make sure there is enough material, and it does the job by itself.
