Sustainability Program SME companies
The Province of Limburg is exploring ways to further encourage small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to become more sustainable. To that end, a new support program focused on sustainability for small SMEs is being launched.

Grants for sustainable logistics
There are various grants available to help make your company’s logistics more sustainable. These range from grants for charging stations to grants for zero-emission trucks (applications can be submitted starting September 30, 2025). The logistics consultants at Logistiekbereikbaar.nl will advise you - free of charge -on which grants are relevant to your business.

Rainwater diversion
Does your municipality have plans for new construction, renovation, or redevelopment? Or are you already working on such projects? If so, you have an excellent opportunity to prevent flooding in your municipality and reduce the load on the sewer system. The Limburg Water Board provides guidance on how to disconnect as many roofs and roads as possible from the sewer system and explores opportunities to combine projects.

Green Grant Guide
Can you get a grant from your municipality to green your roof or garden? Check out groenesubsidiewijzer.nl from Milieu Centraal. For each municipality, you’ll find an up-to-date overview of the grants available for projects such as installing a green roof, disconnecting a downspout, or replacing pavers with plants.

Collaboration in energy hubs
Would you like to collaborate on energy hubs? If so, you’ll need to establish agreements with the other participants and with your collaboration partners.
