Stronger together for an entrepreneurial Limburg

Last year, the Limburg Awards showcased the wealth of entrepreneurship, innovation, and ambition found in Limburg. Huub Janssen (JPE), Marc Boits (Heuschen & Schrouff), Mieke Wijnen (Kersten Hulpmiddelen), and Nelleke Litjens (Newly Blend) proudly accepted their awards.

But behind these winners lies a much bigger story.

Entrepreneurs who are making a difference are active throughout Limburg. They gain visibility through regional entrepreneurship awards and local entrepreneurial networks. The organizers of the Limburg Awards aim to bring together the strength and ingenuity of Limburg’s entrepreneurs and provide a provincial platform for Limburg entrepreneurship.

To further realize this ambition, Ondernemen in Limburg (part of Mediahuis Nederland), the Province of Limburg, and LIOF are joining forces. This collaboration is represented by Stèphanie van Heuven on behalf of Mediahuis Nederland, Provincial Executive Member Stephan Satijn on behalf of the Province of Limburg, and Robbert Koldenhof on behalf of LIOF.

The goal is clear: to develop the Limburg Awards into the premier provincial platform for entrepreneurship: a platform that connects regional entrepreneurship awards and networks and brings together entrepreneurs from all over Limburg.

Because together, we can inspire, raise the profile of, and connect entrepreneurs even more effectively. We value entrepreneurship at every stage of a business’s life cycle: from startup to scale-up to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

This is how we’re building a strong, entrepreneurial Limburg together.
